Having comfortable seats will allow our beneficiaries (i.e. children and their parents) to attend therapy and training sessions without feeling pain. This is important for our beneficiaries who already have difficulties sitting and being focused.
What We Seek:
A 2-seater sofa/couch for our pool of volunteers in the volunteer resource room.
About the Organisation:
Metta Welfare Association is a non-profit welfare organisation that serves some 1,200 beneficiaries from the young to the elderly, the infirmed to the terminally ill by enhancing their quality of life. We play a pivotal role in realising our mission through nine welfare centres located island wide.
Our driving force comes from the satisfaction of seeing our beneficiaries receive proper care and lead fulfilling lives. This gives us immense pride in our ability to offer a comprehensive range of services that goes beyond the mere fulfilment of their requirements.
Among the many stakeholders that helps Metta in her vision are our volunteers, many of whom have dedicated their time and effort for our regular fundraising events. A sofa/couch would be beneficial for the start up of our resource room for them.
